On the first Wednesday of each month we have a post with the month’s theme. The month theme is something to think about, journal about, include in your daily intentions, and/or be mindful of all month. It’s also a good topic for folks doing our Page Per Day Challenge.
There’s so much to enjoy about October: the weather is changing, the evenings are getting dark and cosy, the trees are beautiful and there are so many fun things to do this month.
This month the theme is wonderful, in a couple of senses of the word.
In one sense, focus on the wonderful things this month. These can be doing fun things with friends and family, going to events and celebrations, enjoying successes. When you’re having fun and really enjoying yourself, pay attention; notice the details, and remember those moments well.
In another sense, seek out the wonder in the small stuff. Little things like noticing nature, enjoying your favorite hot beverage, watching the leaves fall; these wonderful moments of joy add up.
So this month, celebrate the wonderful things that happen, and find wonder in the small things. Every day find something wonderful, big or small.
The Month Theme comes out on the first Wednesday of each month. You can see all the month themes here.
