Welcome to this month’s post in our series designed to help you do your Month Reviews!
Each month has a new theme. You can pick the theme you like best and do that every month, or you can do the new theme each month, or pick and choose the elements you like from each month’s theme to do your monthly review. Remember, this is all about you! Do what you find most useful.
This month’s review theme is adventure! It’s summertime, and many people go on vacation in July. Summertime and vacation mean getting out of your usual environment, going places and having new experiences. Look back through your planner, journal, and/ or bullet journal for the past month and ask yourself these questions:
What did I do this month that was adventurous? (Anything that is your definition of adventurous counts!)
Did I try anything new this month, or do things that are different from what I usually do?
Did I go to any new places this month? What were my impressions of these places?
Did I meet new people this month? What were they like?
In what ways did I break out of my normal routines?
How do I feel now after these new experiences compared to how I felt before?
Try to capture that feeling of newness and adventure, to pick you up the next time you feel like you are in a rut.
The Month Review posts are on the Friday of the last week of that month in your Life Noted planner, right before the monthly review pages. These are not always the last Friday of each month; they are on the Friday of the week before the start of the new month. Follow along in your Life Noted planner and you’ll find that these posts come up just when you need them! They go up on a Friday so you have all weekend to do your month review.
The Life Noted planners are designed to help you plan and track your goals all year. They are available in academic year or January-December formats. In the UK they are available at QuoVadis-Diaries.co.uk (with worldwide shipping). Click the links for more information including where to buy.
