Welcome to this month’s post in our series designed to help you do your Month Reviews!
Each month has a new theme. You can pick the theme you like best and do that every month, or you can do the new theme each month, or pick and choose the elements you like from each month’s theme to do your monthly review. Remember, this is all about you! Do what you find most useful.
Believe it or not, this year is already half over! It’s time to review the past 6 months and see how you’re doing.
Look back at what your goals were at the beginning of this year, and ask yourself:
Are these goals still important to you? Why or why not?
If some of the goals have become less important, why? What else has become more important?
Of the goals that are still important, ask yourself:
What is your progress toward these goals? What have you accomplished so far? (Congratulations! Celebrate your successes.)
Have you accomplished as much as you expected to by now? If not, why?
What challenges did you face, and how can you overcome them?
Which new goals have emerged since the beginning of the year? What can you do to work toward them?
What are your most important priorities for the rest of the year?
Answering these questions will get you on track for success for the rest of this year, and will help you focus on what is most important to you.
Planner shown: the Life Noted planner. The Life Noted planners are designed to help you plan and track your goals all year. They are available in academic year or January-December formats. In the UK they are available at QuoVadis-Diaries.co.uk (with worldwide shipping). Click the links for more information including where to buy.
The Month Review posts are on the Friday of the last week of that month in your Life Noted planner, right before the monthly review pages. These are not always the last Friday of each month; they are on the Friday of the week before the start of the new month. Follow along in your Life Noted planner and you’ll find that these posts come up just when you need them! They go up on a Friday so you have all weekend to do your month review.
