On the first Wednesday of each month we have a post with the month’s theme. The month theme is something to think about, journal about, include in your daily intentions, and/or be mindful of all month. It’s also a good topic for folks doing our Page Per Day Challenge.
This month’s theme is: creative expression
October is a great month to explore your creativity. Inktober is going strong all month (where participants do an ink drawing every day all month). It’s not too late to jump in and participate. You can see the official Inktober daily prompts here, or look around online for other prompts, or just draw whatever strikes your fancy each day. Take a look at #Inktober on Instagram to see other people’s drawings for inspiration.
If writing is more your thing, you can start planning for NaNoWriMo next month. Get those creative juices flowing and start planning your novel now!
Even if you’re not in the mood to commit to a month-long challenge, think of ways you can express your creativity this month. Anything from singing in the shower to doodling in your notebook counts. Make it a point to do some form of creative expression each day.
The Month Theme comes out on the first Wednesday of each month. You can see all the month themes here.
