Cornaline d’Egypte ink review on The Gentleman Stationer!

Post Comment

We sent The Gentleman Stationer a bottle of the new Herbin 1798 ink Cornaline d’Egypte to see what he thought of it. You can see his entire review here!

He shows some excellent photos demonstrating the silver shimmer in this ink. He describes the ink very well:

Cornaline d’Egypte is a cool reddish-orange with some brown tones to it. I’d characterize it as a “pumpkin” hue. In addition to the silver shimmer, the ink shades fairly well and dries relatively quickly compared to other Herbin shimmer inks that I’ve used.

The pumpkin color is perfect for autumn, and would be beautiful in some of your Inktober drawings!
