On the first Wednesday of each month we have a post with the month’s theme. The month theme is something to think about, journal about, include in your daily intentions, and/or be mindful of all month.
Today is the start of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), where participants write a novel in a month. It’s a great way to spur you to write that novel you’ve always been meaning to write. A great way to do NaNoWriMo is to write a certain number of words or pages every day. Some people do it as part of our Page Per Day Challenge.
So in honor of NaNoWriMo, the theme for November is creativity!
You don’t have to write a novel in a month to express your creativity. Throughout this month, think of ways you can be more creative and express yourself.
Maybe you can explore a means of expression you don’t normally use, like poetry or sketching. Incorporate creativity in your days by doodling in your planner or notebook, jotting phrases or rhymes, or taking photos of things you wouldn’t normally. Bring your notebook along with you everywhere so you are ready to capture your creativity as it strikes.
