Time management Monday: Get your planner ready for the new school year

Post Comment

Today is the first day in our 2017-2018 Scholar weekly planner! I always get so excited to start a new planner!

Start the school year off right by setting up your planner at the beginning. By entering all your dates and events now, you’ll be prepared and ready for anything that comes at you. Here’s how:

Write in all set dates like birthdays and holidays, and anything else that happens every year. Write in when bills are due so you can pay them in plenty of time to avoid late fees. Block in travel and vacation days. Be sure to fill in any appointments you already know about.

Make sure to write everything school-related into your planner. You’ll want to write all of your exams, deadlines and projects into your planner, so nothing catches you by surprise. Put in events, sports, activities, and everything else you’ve got going on. Write in everything you know now, and update your planner every day.

See this post for more details on how to set up a new planner.

See our popular post How To Use A Planner: A Guide For New Users for tips on how to use your planner effectively.

Also, watch out here on Quo Vadis blog, soon I’ll have a post specifically for students with tips on how to use your planner.

Best of luck in the new school year!
