Harbinger of Easter

Post Comment

Like robins herald spring, Yellow Peeps announce the coming of Easter.

Even though I was never a big marshmallow fan, Peeps were a different story.  They were the second thing I ate after the ears off my chocolate Easter bunny.  I would trade my sister my jelly beans for her Peeps.  We both thought we were getting the better deal, so no fighting there!

Peeps originated in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

  1. We took a few boxes of stale Peeps with us on a camping trip. Our friends were horrified when we toasted them over the campfire – but they were delicious. (If really misshapen.)
