Writing Wednesday: Notebooks and covers

Post Comment

We’ve had several questions from readers lately about using our refillable planner covers with notebooks, and which covers fit which size notebooks. Here are some answers:

All the refillable covers (Club, Texas, Soho, and leather) that fit the Textagenda and Notor day per page planners also fit the Exacompta Basics journals which come in blank or grid pages, or lined as the Undated Daily:

If you have a cover for the Visual weekly planner, it is almost exactly A5 size and fits A5 notebooks perfectly. Here is a Clairefontaine A5 cloth bound notebook in a Visual cover, and you can see it’s a perfect fit:

The refillable covers for the Compact size planners like the Minister, Hebdo, Scholar and Space 24 (which are all 6 1/4 by 9 3/8 inches) are a little bit bigger and taller than A5, but still work so if you want to use your cover with a notebook, it will hold an A5 book. Here is a photo of the same A5 clothbound Clairefontaine notebook in a cover that fits Minister/ Hebdo/ Scholar/ Space 24 planners:

These clothbound notebooks come with graph, ruled or blank pages. They are also available with hard covers.
