As 2015 draws to a close, an interesting journaling theme would be to write a summary of your year, with just two sentences per month allowed. This is different from an annual review, because there is no evaluation involved. Just a summary.
If someone asked you to sum up each month in two sentences, what would you say? Looking at your 24 sentences, what words come up several times? What seems to be the overall tone, theme, or message from your year?
Now ask yourself: what do you want next year’s summary to say? What can you do to make that happen?
