Customer questions and requests

We love hearing from customers! Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or requests. Here are a couple of recent emails from customers:

One customer wrote us to ask if we have a very large day per page planner, 8 by 11 inches or larger.

The short answer is, we don’t. Our largest day per page planner is the Journal 21, which measures 5 1/4 by 8 1/4 inches.

Letter size day per page planners don’t seem to be nearly as popular in the US as they are in the UK. I live in the UK and it’s easy to find day per page planners in A4 size here. A4 is the equivalent of letter size here, but a bit narrower and taller at 8.3 by 11.7 inches. The reason these large daily planners are so easy to find is because businesses use them. Almost every business has one open on the counter as their daily log and to record appointments. They save them year after year as a record.

This isn’t the case in the US so they are more rare. I know Moleskine offered an A4 day per page planner in the US a few years ago, but discontinued them after just a couple of years, I can only assume due to low sales.

Would you be interested in a day per page planner that was 8 by 11 inches or larger? What would you use it for?

Another question we received recently was from someone looking for a notebook that would fit a leather cover that was used on a Minister planner.

In the US we sell Habana notebooks that are the same size as the Minister planner, but because of the thickness of the cover it probably won’t fit into the leather cover. (I don’t have a leather cover so I can’t verify personally). However, there are a couple of options:

There are Notes booklets inserts available to buy. They have 16 pages and are meant to accompany your planner but they can certainly be used alone. They are Reference number 15008, and you can look for them from our online retailers.

A notebook that does fit the Minister cover is the large Habana Smooth notebook. These have a thin flexible cover that will fit into the Minister cover, and are available for worldwide shipping from Quo Vadis UK. The product page is here. You’ll need to contact QV UK directly to ask about shipping costs to your location.

I hope these answers were helpful!

  1. Absolutely I’d love this size. Or pages I could punch onto my Staples Arc disk system which is for 8×11. Fountain pen friendly & business appropriate. What’s not to love?
