Notor Notes

We received this message via Quo Vadis Blog recently: “Hi, I just wanted to say that I enjoy your blog very much! And I absolutely love my Notor! It’s designed for people like me who don’t have many time-centric events to enter (“meeting at 2:00 p.m.”), but I incessantly jot down things to do, record expenses, etc. The Notor is absolutely ideal for this! Thanks, Rob.”

Rob, thank YOU for writing!   We’re delighted you are a fan of the blog and a big fan of the Notor!

Your message got me to thinking—

which of our planners are the best for 1) reminders and 2) daily to-do lists?

I use my Sapa X for reminders, but need an accessory notepad for to-dos.   Anyone do this all-in-one?

  1. I use my Space 24 for notes and to-do-lists also, and it works great for that. I have a lot more to do and remember than I have meetings. Every year I look at the other QuoVadis planners, but I always come back to the Space 24. I really liked the Notor that I had originally, but I plan more by the week than by the day, so the Space 24 ended up working better. By the way, I HATE the new blue text color for the Notor. I liked the soft grey much better.

  2. Oh my gosh you published my comment, I am honored! Before ordering my new Notor for 2013 from Ed Bauer, I gave serious consideration to the ABP/1, which like the Notor has a lot of room for “notes”, whatever they might be. And unlike the Notor, the timed column extends all the way to 10:00 p.m., and it also has nice monthly calendars (current and future) on each page. This is the planner that Laurie over at plannerisms.com chose as her 2013 planner, and she knows planners. Really the only reason I stuck with the Notor is because of its compact size. So there are two great planners for incessant noters (Notors) like myself. Quo Vadis rules!

  3. The Space24 is excellent for to do lists – Week view on the left, Notes on the right. I section mine out into Work and Home and make my to do lists there. It’s perfect! Plus the monthly and yearly planners are invaluable. It’s pretty much the best planner/to do list/calendar entry you have. The only thing that would make it better is if it came in an 18 month. Which reminds me, it’s time to order my 2013 planner!

But.. tht Notor looks interesting. Might have to take a closer look. : )
