On paper: Rhodia, Clairefontaine, Quo Vadis

Post Comment

Quo Vadis is a part of the Exaclair family of companies, and it can get a little confusing: also in the lineup are notebook makers Rhodia and Clairefontaine, agenda specialist Exacompta, and stationer G. Lalo, among others.

What we all have in common is the high quality, environmentally friendly paper that comes from the Clairefontaine mills, in different weights and colors depending on the product. Otherwise, we’re separate companies, with separate designs and offerings.

  1. Thanks, Leah! Are there fillers or bound books that fit the Exacompta planner covers in the Art series? After my blog, some folks sent me theirs [their loss, my gain!] and I’d like refill with plain pages, either ruled or blank, even grid would work, without the day listings and short lines at the top of the page. One’s the Egyptian Journal, one’s sort of an Indian blanket cover, and so on.

  2. So… Exacompta agendas and journals are not interchangeable, alas — the sizes come close, but don’t quite match.

Also, the special Registre Azur paper we use in the Visual, Space 24, Horizon 7 and Journal 21 formats isn’t used for any other product. We have received enough requests for journals with this type of paper that we’ll discuss making them later this year, however.

The closest Exacompta journal we have in size to the Journal 21 is the Exacompta Basic. It is 25% cotton, 100 g off-white paper. The size is 5 1/2 x 8 1/4″. It comes ruled or blank, 100 sheets. The journal has a plain black hard board cover and is cloth bound.

    Hope this helps!

  3. Can you share more links for refills? And are there blank journal books that fit our planner covers? Even with the refill numbers listed on your website, I have difficulty finding refills and/or additional journals/notebooks that would fit my cover and others I have of similar size.

I LOVE your paper. An excellent product!
