Lighten up, brighten up…

You can paint it any color, so long as it’s black, said Henry Ford of the Model T automobile (actually, the quote may be apocryphal, though it’s certainly proven long-lived).

The most popular cover color at Quo Vadis is black, too. It makes a certain amount of sense: black is the businessperson’s color of choice, and many of us use our planners to keep track of work-related items. And, hey, black goes with everything.

On the other hand, there are so many lovely colors to choose from! I’ve recently converted to the new Robert le Hros series (I use the blue University #28 pocket agenda to keep track of my appointments), and I love its bright colors and whimsical pattern. And because like most New Yorkers I’ve already got way too much black in my wardrobe, I don’t have to worry about it clashing.

  1. Abby, no need to worry. The Executive is one of our most popular models and there are no plans to discontinue it or even modify it in any way. Many people love its unique square shape.

  2. I’m a freelance grantwriter with at least five projects going at any one time, plus two kids to manage. I’ve used the Executive for years, and live in fear of it being phased out. Please let me know what the future is for my beloved Executive! It is the perfect size to fit in my purse or briefcase, and also on the desk. I can look through the week-at-a-glance for the best days for lunch, dinner, or a morning meeting. Full days on the weekends accommodate family activities. Notes go in the right-hand column, and I use sticky notes to add shopping lists, errand lists, addresses, daily to-do lists, etc. I make notes of what I’ve been working on as the day goes on, and complete a daily timesheet that I use to invoice my clients monthly.

    LOVE THAT EXECUTIVE!!!
